The CYMA CM.048 GEN-2 airsoft replica is inspired by the AK-74 rifle and is suitable for games in forests or mixed terrain. The model combines a solid construction with metal and wood components, offering a classic and realistic look.

The GEN 2 version is equipped with the CYMA V3 MOSFET, which improves trigger response, electrical efficiency, and overall mechanism performance. The delay between pulling the trigger and firing is reduced, providing a faster and smoother experience.

The external construction includes metal components for rigidity and stable joints. The rifle configuration offers good control and comfortable handling at medium and long ranges. The outer barrel features a 14 mm CCW thread and an additional 24 mm CCW thread for mounting compatible accessories.

Internally, the replica uses a V3 gearbox with 8 mm bearings, a piston with metal teeth, and a spring guide mounted on a bearing. The short, high-torque motor with neodymium magnets ensures rapid response and efficient operation. The quick-change spring system allows for power adjustment without completely disassembling the gearbox.

The replica is equipped with a 500 mm brass inner barrel, 6.04 mm in diameter, for consistent shot-to-shot accuracy and a stable BB trajectory. The standard AK-style metal hop-up chamber allows for adjustment of the spin effect based on BB weight.

In its standard configuration, the replica achieves approximately 390 FPS/119 m/s and a rate of fire of approximately 20 BBs per second.

Power is supplied via the T-connect connector, which is compatible with 7.4V and 11.1V LiPo batteries. The battery is mounted in the stock.
