Assault rifle FN M249 AEG Cybergun is a copy of the M249 light machine gun made under FN Herstal license. This light machine gun is a version of the FN Minimi adapted for the American infantry.

The FN M249 AEG rifle works on an electrical system, it is provided with a V2 gearbox, metal housing, 8 mm bushes, steel wheels, piston head, cylinder head, piston and tappet plate made of polycarbonate and aluminum cylinder.
In addition, it is equipped with a Quick Change Spring system, the spring can be changed after removing the spring guide.
The rifle only shoots Full Auto.

The FN M249 AEG airsoft rifle is made mostly of nylon, with small metal elements, which makes it easy to handle on airsoft field.
The upper RIS rail is approximately 175 mm and allows mounting of optical devices.
The handguard is completed by 3 RIS segments of approx. 145 mm suitable for the build in bipod and other tactical accessories.
The stock is disassembled in the package, but it can be easily mounted with the 2 bolts from the package.
It can be rotated 90 degrees and then folded to shorten the length of the rifle by another 120 mm.
The battery has a special shape to fit in the body, it is connected on the top, under the RIS rail and the rear sight, after lifting the cover.
Basically, the battery is positioned exactly behind the gearbox.
The rifle is equipped with adjustable hop-up, Rotary type, and can be adjusted after lifting the top cover, being placed in front of the gearbox.
The rifle allows mounting of a silencer with 14 mm CCW thread, after removing the flash hider.
The bipod is made of plastic, attached to the lower body of the rifle and can be folded along the handguard.
The back sight is adjustable.
The safety of the rifle is placed above the trigger, represented by a round metal button.
The front handle can be moved left / right.
The magazine from the package is M4, Hi-cap, metal with a capacity of 300 bbs, and it is positioned lateral.
